Westminster, MD (Sports Network) - Baltimore Ravens All-Pro offensive tackle Jonathan Ogden is questionable for his club's season opener on September 12 due to a sprained MCL in his left knee.
Ogden suffered the injury in the Ravens' preseason finale against the New York Giants at Giants Stadium. Ogden was forced to be helped off the field late in the first quarter of his club's eventual 27-17 win.
As long as the swelling goes down and he does not experience significant stiffness, Ogden is likely to play. He will be reevaluated early next week.
Entering his ninth season, Ogden is a seven-time Pro-Bowl selection. The first overall selection in the 1996 draft, Ogden has anchored the Ravens' offensive line ever since. The UCLA product has missed only four games in his career, starting all 16 regular season games in each of the last three seasons.
